Tom Holland and Zendaya appear to be this summer’s Hollywood it-couple, as they have been working on promoting two blockbuster movies after tying the knot.

Tom and Zendaya have been working together on their era of Spider-Man movies in the Marvel franchise for roughly a decade, having met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, with Tom cast as Peter Parker and Zendaya as his love interest, MJ.
They went public with their romance in 2021, later got engaged, and quietly married, with Tom confirming in 2026 in interviews.
Over the past few weeks, the couple has been spotted side by side on the red carpets for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey, both of which opened in theaters in July 2026.
Brand New Day grossed $168 million from 4,487 North American theaters on Friday, according to Variety, breaking box office history as the biggest opening day ever for a domestic release. The previous record-holder was Avengers: Endgame, earning $157 million on its first day in theaters in 2019.

Sony Pictures estimates that the film could reach $325 million by Sunday, but other estimates project an even higher profit at $358 million, as reported by Variety.
The Odyssey came in second place for this week’s box office results, adding $14.5 million to its profits. The film is expected to bring its domestic total to $395 million by the end of the week, after opening in theaters on July 17.
