Charli xcx's next album is on its way.
On Monday, June 1, the Grammy-winning pop star announced her new album Music, Fashion, Filmand unveiled its cover artwork featuring John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese.

The Music, Fashion, Film cover, shot by Aidan Zamiri, is a black-and-white shot of the three icons in a kitchen and marks Charli's second album to not feature herself on its main artwork after 2024's Brat.
Zamiri previously directed Charli's music videos for "360," "Guess" with Billie Eilish and "Rock Music" as well as the 2026 mockumentary film The Moment about the Brat phenomenon.
Music, Fashion, Film comes after Charli released a soundtrack album to accompany Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights film adaptation in February. The project featured a collaboration with Cale titled "House."

In an April British Vogue cover story interview, Charli explained why her next album wouldn't be a sequel to Brat. "If I'd made another album that felt more dance-leaning, it would have felt really hard, really sad," she explained.
“We were doing our version of analogue, which is so silly and funny,” she said of herself and producer A.G. Cook, “but putting it through our lens, and making sure that nothing felt too macho, was important.”
"For me, it's fun to flip the form. We know there's gonna be people who are bothered by it, but that's fine,” added Charli at the time.
